On January 6, 2014, the American Axle announced a number of personnel changes as follows:
U.S. Axle Personnel Changes
Alberto L. Satine (left one) was appointed senior vice president of global drive system business. He will lead the company's drive system business and production operations worldwide.
Steven J. Proctor (second from left) was appointed vice president of the group responsible for global sales and business development. After taking office, he will lead the strategic growth plan and global sales activities of American Axle.
David A. Culton (second from right) was appointed vice president of material cost optimization, and he will focus on all aspects of the overall cost structure of the American Axle.
In addition, Thomas J. Szymanski (first from right) was appointed President of America's Axle North America Company and concurrently Vice President of American Axle. He will bring the drivetrain manufacturing business of American Axle in North America.
