The research team has successfully developed a more compact, easier to operate and faster nano-infrared microscopy prototype. The main fields of application expected are material sciences, biochemistry, cytopathology and cellular molecular biology, as well as quality testing of industrial products such as functional textile coatings for antimicrobial textiles and bio-metal implants.
