Autodesk Introduces the Next Generation of Tools for a New Era of Infrastructure

Autodesk stands uniquely equipped to partner strategically with both public and private sector AEC clients, helping them spearhead a new age of infrastructure development. Our extensive industry knowledge positions us as one of the few companies capable of bringing architecture, manufacturing, and construction together to shape the infrastructure of tomorrow. This involves fostering more interconnected vertical and horizontal infrastructure design processes, streamlining civil structure workflows, and enhancing project delivery. I firmly believe that we bring the full potential of Autodesk to address the vast array of infrastructure challenges and opportunities. Even before substantial public funds began flowing into infrastructure projects, the $1.2 trillion Bipartisan Infrastructure Law had already set the stage for its success. By authorizing $100 million over five years for a digital design and construction program, it underscored the critical need for digital transformation to enhance project delivery and reduce costs. The stakes are incredibly high for state and local governments to successfully rebuild and repair neglected infrastructure, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Every minute saved and every risk mitigated during design and engineering not only conserves taxpayer money but also strengthens community well-being and reduces environmental impact. I’m proud to highlight how Autodesk supports this unprecedented infrastructure investment in the U.S., along with similar efforts worldwide. Across our entire product portfolio, we’re introducing innovations designed to transform how people and goods move, and how we improve the environments and communities where we live. These innovations include: - Model-based design that empowers better decision-making in design. - Conceptual design tools that offer a clearer understanding of project impacts before any physical work begins. - Automated workflows that boost design efficiency. - Cloud-based data sharing to enhance collaboration among stakeholders. - Convergence of manufacturing and infrastructure technology to accelerate the adoption of prefabrication and industrialized construction methods. Excited to share the 2023 releases of Autodesk® Civil 3D®, Autodesk® InfraWorks®, and Autodesk® ReCap™ Pro, let’s explore how these tools can capitalize on the upcoming infrastructure boom. To streamline project delivery, these updates focus on automation, interoperability, and better collaboration. For instance, recent enhancements between InfraWorks and structural analysis tools enable engineers to evaluate design integrity more effectively. Improved links with Autodesk® Inventor® simplify integrating custom bridge parts into the design process. Since most infrastructure projects start with site work, a new Help Center makes it easier to use Grading Optimization in Civil 3D, while upgraded notifications keep you informed throughout the process to minimize material waste. If you need to share a digital representation of your project, ReCap Pro’s cloud-based workflows facilitate visualization, presentations, and inspections in the field using large-scale reality capture data. The Autodesk® Forge® viewer allows anyone to review and annotate models via Autodesk® Docs and a browser. There are countless other updates improving design efficiency for various infrastructure segments, from pressurized utilities to rail and civil structures. These advancements stem directly from customer feedback. At Autodesk, we’ve built a growing community of nearly 10,000 customers who provide invaluable insights and feedback. Their involvement helps us refine solutions and develop the next generation of tools to tackle massive challenges. To meet the demand ahead, no single entity can accomplish this alone. This historic infrastructure investment carries ambitious goals: rebuilding global roads, bridges, public transit, and commuter rail networks, expanding access to clean drinking water, combating climate change, and much more. Join the Autodesk Infrastructure Futures program and be part of shaping the future of infrastructure. Together, let’s pursue these bold ambitions.

Flocking PVC

PVC flocking is a high-end packaging and decorative material formed by electrostatic flocking treatment on the PVC sheet. It has a wide range of uses, such as embossing patterns on clothing, high-end watches, voltage packaging belts for fountain pens, and flocking inflatable beds. , Inflatable pillow fabrics, bags, handbags, ski boots, etc. are
