Outer PE Inner EP Plastic-Coated Composite Steel Pipe
Outer PE inner EP plastic-coated composite steel pipes are professionally manufactured and sold. These coated steel pipes have no restrictions on pipe diameter, and the lining thickness can be customized based on specific requirements. Depending on the corrosive environment, different lining thicknesses can be selected, and the pipe length can range from 6 to 12 meters. The nominal diameter of these coated composite steel pipes is typically between 0.5 mm and 1 mm. The inner surface is smooth, with a low friction coefficient and minimal wear, which reduces fluid loss and improves flow efficiency, leading to energy savings. In recent years, anti-corrosion spiral steel pipes have been widely used in water supply and drainage systems, drinking water distribution, and fire protection pipelines. Traditionally, hot-dip galvanized steel pipes were commonly used for fire pipelines, but now many residential areas, hotels, and office buildings are transitioning to internal and external epoxy powder-coated steel pipes. These pipes offer an attractive appearance, long service life, and are becoming a key product in modern industries.
The outer PE and inner EP plastic-coated steel pipes provide excellent performance. The epoxy powder coating is tough, waterproof, non-toxic, and has strong adhesion. It offers excellent rust and water resistance, thanks to high-quality raw materials. The paint film is also highly durable, with good abrasion and impact resistance. With a high solid content, it forms a thick and uniform coating. The molecular structure of the epoxy powder contains active epoxy groups that can react with various curing agents to form a three-dimensional network structure, making it insoluble and infusible. Epoxy powder coatings are among the earliest thermosetting powder coatings and remain one of the most widely used types. They are popular in electrostatic spraying applications and play a significant role in decorative coatings. Epoxy phenolic coatings, on the other hand, offer higher chemical resistance and are often used for corrosion protection.
Thermoplastic powder coatings include materials like polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride, polypropylene, chlorinated polyether, nylon, and polyphenylene sulfide. Each has its own advantages and limitations. Thermosetting plastics, due to their smaller molecular weight, provide better leveling and wetting properties during application, ensuring strong adhesion to the steel pipe and a smoother surface finish. Commonly used thermosetting resins include epoxy resin, phenolic resin, and amino resin. The coating thickness usually ranges from 100 to 500 microns, with an average of 350 microns.
Key features of these coated pipes include being hygienic, non-toxic, and resistant to microbial growth, ensuring clean fluid flow. They also exhibit excellent weather resistance, making them suitable for harsh environments such as deserts and saline-alkali areas. When processing pipe threads, cooling should be carefully managed. For flange connections, on-site measurements and single-line drawings can be made before processing, coating, and lining, then transported to the site for installation. For non-coated or unlined pipes, they can be assembled on-site, then coated and lined before being moved to the installation location. It's recommended to use pre-grooved plastic-coated fittings, and grooves should be made using a rolling groove machine, ensuring the depth meets relevant standards.
Fragrance Pigments include oil-based powders and water-based fragrance emulsions. This kind of pigment is not resistant to light, high temperature baking, solvent, acid and alkali resistance. Fragrance pigments are widely used for packaging and printing industries, such as cosmetics, beverages, daily necessities, artworks, textile printing and other industries.
Perfumed pigments can be made into inks and coatings that are colored or colorless. If ordinary Organic Pigments or inorganic pigments are not added during the production process, colorless and transparent fragrance inks and fragrance coatings can be obtained. At this time, the invisible effect can be achieved; if mixing this colorless and transparent Perfumed Ink or paint with ordinary ink or paint,We can obtain colored perfumed products, such as red, yellow, blue, green, black, orange, purple and other colors.
