Nano-antibacterial has the first national standard

The National Standard for the Detection of Antibacterial Properties of Nano-Inorganic Materials, which was drafted by the Antibacterial Association and other organizations, was recently released and will be formally implemented on August 1, 2008.

Other major drafting organizations for the standard are: National Nanotechnology Center, Institute of Process Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing Certex Technology Development Co., Ltd., Center for Environmental and Health Related Product Safety, Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Institute of Physics and Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences .

Bosideng Co., Ltd., Chinese Academy of Sciences Antibacterial Materials Testing Center, Shanghai Runhe Nanomaterials Technology Co., Ltd., Nanjing Haitai Nanomaterials Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Changtai Nanomaterials Co., Ltd., and Nantong Zongxi Chemical Co., Ltd. also participated in this national standard. Drafting work.

In recent years, with the development of the antibacterial industry, the application of nano-inorganic antibacterial materials has become increasingly widespread. Because there is no uniform inspection standard, manufacturers and consumers cannot obtain authoritative verification. The forthcoming national standards stipulate the terms and definitions, test methods, and test reports for the antibacterial properties of nano-inorganic materials, providing a reliable guarantee for the market specification of nano-inorganic antibacterial materials.

The standard has been formulated since 2004 and has been the first national standard for the antibacterial industry in China for four years.

Plate Flange

The Flat Face Flange has a gasket surface in the same plane as the bolting circle face. Applications using flat face flanges are frequently those in which the mating flange or flanged fitting is made from a casting.

Flat face flanges are never to be bolted to a Raised Face Flange. ASME B31.1 says that when connecting flat face cast iron flanges to carbon steel flanges, the raised face on the carbon Steel Flange must be removed, and that a full face gasket is required. This is to keep the thin, bittle cast iron flange from being sprung into the gap caused by the raised face of the carbon steel flange.
