Singapore Wanguo Engineering receives orders for ONGC lifesaving equipment

Recently, Vanguard Composite Engineering Pte Ltd received an order from the Energy National Enterprise of India (ONGC) for life-saving equipment. This is the first time that IWC has successfully received an order since it entered the ONGC supplier list earlier this year.

After many reviews, the World Lifeboat Company became the only life-saving equipment manufacturer in Asia to join the ONGC supplier list. After several subsequent bids, the World Lifeboat Company successfully won the bid to provide ONGC with two 8.5-meter fully enclosed lifeboats and two sets of gravity davit systems.

The lifeboat and davit systems will be installed in a project to convert a Sagar Pragati jack-up rig from India's Nadine Group and Pipavav shipyards into a marine mobile production unit. Lifeboat and davit systems are expected to be delivered by the middle of this year.
