I just got some photos from Steve Redick taken at the scene of an active fire that broke out at 9017 Grand in River Grove last night. The flames were intense, and it was clear the firefighters had their work cut out for them.

The firefighters worked tirelessly under challenging conditions. It's always inspiring to see how quickly they respond and manage such dangerous situations. I'm glad no major injuries were reported, but it's a stark reminder of why these brave men and women do what they do every day. These images really capture the intensity and focus needed to handle a fire like this one.
