Lake Zurich has recently been incorporated into MABAS Division 4, expanding the regional fire response network. The department operates from four stations, with one located in Deer Park and another in North Barrington. All of their firefighting equipment is manufactured by Pierce, consisting of four Saber pumper trucks, a Dash tower ladder, and a squad unit built on an IHC 4400 chassis. Their ambulance fleet includes a mix of Road Rescue and Medtec Type I units, all mounted on IHC chassis.
The four pumper trucks are nearly identical in design, though they were built between 1997 and 2002. Most of them carry 1,000 gallons of water and foam tanks, while the downtown engine only carries 750 gallons. This variation reflects the different needs of each station's location and response area.
