Changshou District disclosed yesterday that at the fair, the district will sign 12 projects with a total investment of 30.48 billion yuan, of which 13.6 billion yuan will be foreign investment, involving industries, agriculture, real estate and tourism. The key projects include an acetic acid integration project with a total investment of 2.5 billion yuan, and a BDO project with a total investment of approximately 4 billion yuan (including 1.89 billion yuan of foreign capital).
According to reports, the acetic acid integration project was jointly invested by Sinopec Group Sichuan Vinylon Plant and BP Chemical Investment Co., Ltd. The proposed project includes a 600,000-ton/year acetic acid project, a downstream acetic acid derivative device, and supporting public works infrastructure. The BDO project is jointly invested by China Petrochemical Group's Sichuan Vinylon Plant and Aishikai Chemical Investment Hong Kong Co., Ltd., with an annual output of 200,000 tons, and it is planned to start construction in 2012. After the completion of the two projects, it will greatly extend and improve the longevity chemical industry chain.
