Dennis McGuire, Jr. recently shared a collection of photos capturing the latest updates across nearly all units at the three fire stations in Mount Prospect. These images offer a fresh look at the department's modernized fleet and facilities.
The Mount Prospect Fire Department operates a total of 10 units, including four fire engines, one tower ladder, two rescue squads, four ambulances, a dive trailer, a warming bus, and a battalion chief’s vehicle. Among these, the tower ladder and three of the engines are manufactured by Pierce, while all four ambulances were built by Medtec. The remaining vehicles come from various other manufacturers, showcasing a diverse and well-equipped response team.
These photos highlight not only the equipment but also the dedication of the firefighters who maintain and operate them. Each unit plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of the community.
