Delfast, one of Ukraine’s top technological startups, is launching a new project focused on the design and development of an electric tricycle called Trike, supported by USAID’s "Competitive Economy of Ukraine" (KEU) program.

The Delfast Trike is a three-wheeled electric vehicle designed for small and medium businesses, as well as individual entrepreneurs. It features a cargo platform at the back and is adaptable to various business models. The platform can be used to carry boxes or converted into a mobile kiosk for selling coffee, ice cream, newspapers, souvenirs, flowers, and more. It can also serve as an advertising platform or even as a tourist transport option, similar to a tuk-tuk.

This electric tricycle can be an excellent solution for small businesses, especially in developing countries, as well as delivery services around the world. The model is also useful for people working as plumbers, electricians, repair technicians, and others who need reliable and efficient transportation.

Delfast has extensive experience in producing electric bikes for couriers, as the company was originally launched in 2014 as an eco-friendly delivery service. From the beginning, Delfast aimed to create the perfect electric bike for its own delivery operations, and they succeeded. The Delfast delivery service, based in Kyiv, continues to operate and provide services to individual customers, online stores, and restaurants. Additionally, Delfast is an international manufacturer of top-tier electric bikes.

Delfast thanks USAID’s "Competitive Economy of Ukraine" program for their support in designing and developing this new product, which is highly needed by couriers and the services they support. Especially during these times, when the work they do is greatly appreciated by people under quarantine. Our goal is to make this new electric tricycle affordable, convenient, high-quality, and efficient.
