The application passes the heel trigger event

IStrategyLabs, a digital agency in Washington, DC, recently introduced a new device called Dorothy that allows users to trigger certain actions on the iPhone by bringing their heels close together three times. The microcontroller, Dorothy, can be clipped into your shoe and rely on an internal Bluetooth chip and accelerometer to send the signal to an application on the phone. You can use Dorothy to help you make a fake call to escape a bad date. All you need to do is close your heels three times.
It can also send your exact location to your friends, call you a taxi, or even order a pizza. The Dorothy team is making smaller models, which will make the device even more inconspicuous, especially for users who are not keen on decorating their shoes with hardware. The person in charge of iStrategyLabs said: "Imagine that the device will have more extensive customization in the future. For example, if the heel is connected once, it is to call me. Two times is to send an e-mail together. Three times to close is to order an Uber, 4 times. It's time to order pizzas, close together five times is to open my garage door, etc."
