Recently, the technological transformation project for casting production lines with leading domestic level was formally launched at Inner Mongolia Yiji Group. The project is expected to be completed by the end of this year. After the completion of the project, Inner Mongolia First Machine Group will form an annual production capacity of 20,000 tons of high-quality ductile iron castings, which can meet the needs of vehicle manufacturers such as the North Mercedes-Benz Automobile Company.
In recent years, with its good performance, ductile iron castings have gradually replaced some steel castings, which is particularly prominent in the automotive industry. This year, the determination of over 10,000 vehicles by the North Benz Automotive Company brought about 10,000 tons of market space to the casting market. In order to meet the demands of the development of the Northern Mercedes-Benz Company and the development of the external market, Inner Mongolia Yiji Group has transformed the existing casting production line, expanded its production capacity and improved its market competitiveness.
The total investment of 5,276.854 million yuan in the technical transformation project of the ductile iron casting production line adopts a static pressure molding production line with high production efficiency, low production cost and good product quality.
