From September 28 to 29, at the seminar on the development of independent strategies for wind power coatings in China held in Beijing in 2011, representatives from relevant state departments, experts in the industry, and representatives of wind power coating production, raw material supply, and blade manufacturing in-depth discussions on wind power in China The development strategy of coatings and reached a consensus that localization of wind power coatings is imperative.
The development of wind power in China has attracted attention in recent years. In 2010, China's newly installed capacity was 18.928 million kilowatts, and its cumulative installed capacity was 44.733 million kilowatts. China's newly installed wind power capacity and grid-connected power ranks first in the world, becoming a major wind power country. During the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan†period, the installed capacity of wind power in China will continue to grow rapidly, which will certainly drive the rapid development of wind power coatings.
Dong Xiufen, director of the New Energy Division of the New Energy and Renewable Energy Division of the National Energy Administration, said that although wind power coating is a supporting industry, it has a great impact on the wind power industry. In 2010, according to the output of wind turbines, the output value of wind power coatings exceeded 1 billion yuan. According to the wind energy development goal, the installed capacity of wind power will reach 100 million kilowatts by 2015 and 200 million kilowatts by 2020. At the end of the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan†period, the output value of wind power coatings will reach 3 billion to 4 billion yuan. This is just a newly added coating for construction. If it includes the repair and maintenance of blades, the output value of the entire life cycle will be even higher.
It is understood that due to the late start of China's wind power coating, there are currently some problems, mainly the wind power coating market is monopolized by foreign paint companies, especially leaf coatings, almost all dependent on imports; at the same time, the lack of wind power coating industry standards, companies in research and development There is a lack of clear technical references for blade coating.
In response, Zhou Zhuye, vice president of the China National Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, proposed to increase investment in scientific research and development, master core technologies, comprehensively upgrade the technological level, and gradually change the situation regulated by others. At the same time, formulate wind power coating industry technical specifications and standards, establish and implement China's wind power coating certification system, improve access thresholds, and ensure the healthy and sustainable development of China's wind power coating industry.
The participants also exchanged ideas on the research and development of self-cleaning wind power coatings and water-based wind power coatings.
