The cyclone desander is a new type of separation device based on the principle of sieving of solid particles in the fluid when the sand particles are rotated in the sand remover, and then combined with filtering measures. Due to the different density of sand and water, the water with low density will rise under the action of centrifugal force, centripetal force, buoyancy and fluid drag. The nozzle is discharged, and the dense sand is discharged from the sewage outlet at the bottom of the equipment. The individual fine particles floating along the water flow are blocked by the second-stage filtering device, thereby achieving the purpose of sand removal, compared with the current cyclone desilter on the market. In comparison, the filter unit is added (the filter accuracy can be selected by the user), which has the advantages of high sand removal rate, saving installation space, low leakage rate for individual tiny solids, and stable working condition.

Selection instructions

Use installation considerations

1. Equipment installation should be installed in bypass mode to meet the needs of maintenance equipment and cleaning of the filter without stopping the machine.

2. It is forbidden to turn on the equipment for a long time in the no water state

3. Equipment operation:

(1) Sewage rate: When the inlet and outlet pressure difference reaches 0.03-0.06MPa (or according to the system setting pressure difference), it should be backwashed. When the water quality is poor or the new system is used for the first time, backwash for 1-2 minutes every 8 hours. After normal operation, it depends on the water quality.

(2) Backwashing: Open the bypass valve, drain valve, close the inlet valve of the equipment, and rinse the filter with water to clean the filter. The backwashing time depends on the water quality, usually 10-30 seconds.

(3) For systems with serious pollution, a short-cycle high-frequency backwashing process should be used. When the inlet pressure is 0.25MPa, the anti-washing pump should be set separately to increase the backwashing force and increase the amount of sewage.

(4) Return to work status.

Selection instructions

1. Equipment selection

(1). Before equipment selection, it must be clear:

a. The nominal diameter and connection method of the pipeline connecting the inlet and outlet of the desander;

b. Work pressure;

c. Swirl direction and relative position of the nozzle.

(2). According to the system processing flow or filtration accuracy, multiple “swirl sand removal (soil) devices” can be selected for series or parallel use.

(3). For systems with high precision requirements, the filter with higher precision should be selected after the “swirl sand removal (soil) device according to the requirements of filtration accuracy to avoid system blockage.

2. Equipment installation

(3). The equipment inlet and outlet pipes and installation direction must be strictly in accordance with the identification on the equipment.

(4). The distance of the equipment casing should not be less than 300mm in principle.

3. Equipment use

(1) When opening the drain valve, use even force to avoid human damage.

(2) After the initial operation of the new system for 48 hours, open the hand hole to check the debris in the cleaning machine.
