The year 2013 was the year of full implementation of the country’s new decade of poverty alleviation development strategy. As one of the units participating in the new round of poverty alleviation work of the State Council Poverty Alleviation Office, Dongfeng Motor Company held the “Beautiful Horse†on September 28, 2013 in Mashan County, Guangxi. Hill Clean Village" activities sanitation vehicle delivery ceremony. Dongfeng donated the first batch of poverty alleviation materials with a total value of 800,000 yuan, including 11 sanitation vehicles and 1 official vehicle, and actively contributed to the construction of a clean and beautiful Mashan County.
The donation ceremony was held on the morning of September 28, 2013 at the Mashan County Gymnasium. Huang Xiaojun, General Director of General Office of Dongfeng Motor Corporation, Yuan Ronghua, General Manager of Dongfeng (Hubei) Ecological Technology Co., Ltd., and Yao Liwen, Assistant General Manager of Dongfeng Liuzhou Automobile Co., Ltd. The relevant leaders of Guangxi Poverty Alleviation Office, Nanning Poverty Alleviation Office and Mashan County attended the ceremony. In enthusiastic applause, Dongfeng Company representative Huang Xiaoyu and Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor Company representative Yao Liwen handed over the keys of 11 sanitation trucks and a commercial vehicle to Mashan County, Guangxi. Huang Xiaoyu said in his speech: “Today, we donate Dongfeng Clean Sanitation Vehicle here. On the one hand, we implement the spirit of the Central Poverty Alleviation Work Conference. On the other hand, we take concrete actions to support the beautiful Mashan and clean rural areas in Mashan County. 'The activities of these 11 vehicles will be carried out in 11 townships in Mashan County, which will play an important role in the development of the “Beautiful Mashan and Clean Rural Areas.†Next, relevant leaders of Mashan County presented Dongfeng Motor Company with a thankful plaque. And give thanks for the speech. The heavy car keys and thanksgiving cards embody the profound friendship between Mashan County and Dongfeng Company. It is believed that today’s donation is not only a positive measure to actively support the development of social undertakings in Mashan County, but also Dongfeng Company and Mashan. The county has established a good start for deep friendship.
