Concrete gravity dam comprehensive management through the acceptance of key technologies

September 28, 2013, China Water Electric drive Consulting Group in Hangzhou hosted "key technologies of concrete gravity dam comprehensive management" project acceptance will be. Experts and representatives from China Academy of Hydropower Consultants Beijing, Northwest Hospital, Central South Hospital, Chengdu Hospital, Guiyang Hospital, Kunming Hospital and East China Hospital attended the meeting.

The project, undertaken by East China Institute of China Hydropower Consultant Group, mainly relies on such works as Fengman Hydropower Station to evaluate the concrete properties, working behavior and safety of old concrete gravity dam, and to improve the comprehensive anti-seepage, stability and durability of the dam Governance of key technologies conducted a comprehensive and systematic study. The main results are as follows:

1, Using the relationship between concrete strength and wave velocity to detect physical quantity, the index of classification system of concrete properties for dam is put forward for the first time, which has guiding significance for discrimination of low-strength concrete in dam.

The safety assessment method and evaluation system of old concrete gravity dam are studied. This paper presents a comprehensive evaluation of concrete quality, dam seepage, dam stability and stress, flood control and flood safety.

From the point of view of improving the seepage control system of dam, this paper studied the treatment plan of upstream geomembrane, all-inclusive concrete, replacement concrete seepage-proof wall and dam curtain grouting. For the first time, the seepage control scheme of slot replacement concrete in the dam was put forward and a new technology of "dense hole, high pressure, wet grinding fine cement and thick slurry" was put forward for the dam curtain grouting scheme.

For the first time, the construction type of multi-stage double embankment cofferdam under deepwater conditions in the reservoir and the construction method of positioning and throwing by using the anchor chain to control the position of pontoon are proposed.

The project has obtained 8 patents and some of the research results have been successfully applied to the projects such as Xin'anjiang, Songyue, Xianju and Luowan, which have achieved obvious economic and social benefits.

During the meeting, the participating experts listened attentively to the report of East China Institute on the project research and seriously discussed and considered the research results. They thought that the research results had high popularization and application value and agreed that the project passed the acceptance.
