According to the introduction of the Municipal Quality Supervision Bureau, the draft of the "Technical Requirements for Taxi" was drafted by the Beijing Municipal Transportation Commission, the Beijing Transportation Development Research Center, and Tsinghua University. Once this standard is officially released, it will replace the local standard of the 2004 Technical Requirements for Renewing Rental Cars.
Previously, in 2011, Beijing had first collected opinions on taxi standards.
